We are seeking a highly skilled Java Spring Boot Senior Developer to join our dynamic and innovative software development team.

Location: Chennai

Employment type: Contract

Experience: 5 to 10 years

Position Overview:

As a Java Spring Boot Senior Developer at CBL, the candidate will be a key contributor to our software development projects. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java Spring Boot applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Software Development: Develop and maintain Java Spring Boot applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.

Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, including code reviews and design guidance.

Architectural Design: Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to design robust and scalable software solutions. Problem Solving: Tackle complex technical challenges and provide innovative solutions.

Code Quality: Ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards.

Testing: Implement and perform unit testing and integration testing to ensure the reliability of software solutions.

Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents and code documentation.

Production Support: Provide Level 2 (L2) support for production applications, including troubleshooting and resolving issues in a timely manner. Monitor application performance and implement optimisations to ensure scalability and reliability.

KAFKA Experience: Work with Kafka for real-time data streaming and event processing. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.

Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Proven experience as a Java Spring Boot developer with a strong track record of delivering high-quality software. In-depth knowledge of Java and the Spring Boot framework.

Experience with microservices architecture is highly desirable. Proficiency in developing REST APIs Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Familiarity with agile software development methodologies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
