This role focuses on building and optimizing scalable data architectures using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and other Azure platform tools. Expertise in SQL and data modeling is essential, while Python skills are a bonus. The position involves working with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data flows and business intelligence solutions, with additional knowledge in SAP data and API ingestion being advantageous.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and architectures using Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks.
  • Develop robust business data models with a focus on SQL-based solutions and data modeling techniques.
  • Implement end-to-end data flows, ensuring data quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable data platforms and products.
  • Utilize Azure Data Lake Storage and the Azure Data Engineering Platform for data management and integration.
  • Lead SQL-based data analytics and business intelligence initiatives.
  • Assist with integrating data ingestion systems, particularly API ingestion scenarios.
  • Leverage Python for building data processing frameworks where applicable.


Must-Have Skills:

  • SQL Expertise – Proven skills in building and optimizing SQL queries and databases.
  • Data Modeling – Strong knowledge of data structures and end-to-end data flows.
  • Azure Databricks & Azure Data Lake Storage – Experience in data management and processing.
  • Azure Data Factory – Hands-on experience managing data pipelines.
  • Azure Data Engineering Platform – Deep understanding of building scalable data systems.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Python – Familiarity with using Python for data analytics and development.
  • Experience with SAP data and API Ingestion (advantageous but not required).
