Job Role: Quality Audits and Quality Control Specialist

About the Role: We need Quality Control profiles, the candidate needs to have experience doing Quality Audits and Quality Control, be the gatekeeper to flag off a release from Development to Production once the quality checks are passed.


Role and Responsibilities: The candidate will be responsible for reviewing the quality of assigned project deliverables/artifacts based on the defined Project Delivery methodology and SDLC standards across the project lifecycle (Planning, Execution, and Implementation). Activities include the following:

  • Review all project-related deliverables/artifacts (Business Requirements Document, Functional Design Document, Testing Documents – System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Requirements Traceability, etc.) and verification from a Quality Control (QC) perspective to ensure quality standards and best practices are met based on the QA review/verification processes.
  • Demonstrate and apply project governance for the banks ITPD Project Methodology (Waterfall based) and the associated Software Development Lifecycle processes and controls.
  • Work under a Waterfall methodology of software development/implementation and Infrastructure projects providing technology solutions.
  • Create and maintain team and organizational dashboards, scorecards, SLA’s and other metrics related to the support and project coverage of technology projects.
  • Review and verify assigned project artifacts created by the project teams as per provided templates and provide feedback/findings through a quality control review/verification process.
  • Evaluate and verify tasks, artifacts/deliverables, test results documentation delivered during SIT and UAT phases of the project. Provide “best practice” recommendations to the project and test teams as required.
  • Perform audits to ensure process adherence, have project teams address QA’s feedback based on quality control checklists, and track corrective and preventive measures to close out any identified risks and issues.
  • Enhance Governance methodology by deploying quantitative measurement and analysis techniques as needed
