Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop, implement, and oversee operational policies and strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze current operational processes and recommend efficiency improvements.
  • Team Management: Lead, manage, and mentor operational teams, including project managers, business analysts, financial analysts, PMOs, and other support staff.
  • Project Management: Lead and manage strategic projects, ensuring timely execution and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Resource Allocation: Ensure efficient allocation and utilization of resources, including manpower, capital, and technology.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and reports for relevant stakeholders.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations that support informed decision-making for projects and company-wide strategies.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze data and information to provide insights and recommendations that support informed decision-making.
  • Vendor Management: Manage and negotiate contracts with external vendors and suppliers.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and improve the quality of operational output and project deliveries.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure operations are compliant with industry regulations and best practices; identify and mitigate operational risks.
  • Communication: Facilitate effective communication within the team and with other departments.
  • Performance Metrics: Monitor, evaluate, and report performance metrics to optimize operational effectiveness.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering, sales, and customer service to align operational processes and strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in an operations management role, preferably within the software industry, with a focus on financial analysis.
  • Strong financial acumen with proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Proven track record in strategic planning, team management, and process improvement.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficient in financial software tools, as well as relevant software tools for project management and data analysis.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
