Position: Databricks Engineer

Location: Pune and Noida


Job Summary: The Databricks Engineer will be responsible for developing and managing data pipelines, loading data from SAP and non-SAP sources, and developing models on these datasets using Databricks. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 8 years of overall experience, specifically in Databricks and data engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines on Databricks.
  • Load data from various sources, including SAP and non-SAP systems, into Databricks.
  • Develop and implement data models on Databricks.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security in all data engineering activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues within Databricks environments.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in Databricks and data engineering technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 7 to 8 years of overall experience in data engineering.
  • 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience with Databricks.
  • Proficiency in data loading techniques from SAP and non-SAP sources into Databricks.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling and development on Databricks.
  • Knowledge of data engineering best practices, including data quality, data governance, and data security.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Functional knowledge of SAP systems.
  • Experience with SQL and Python.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Knowledge of ETL tools and techniques.
