About the Role:
As a Retail HR Business Partner (HRBP) at Sabyasachi Calcutta, you will play a pivotal role in aligning our retail operations with the broader strategic objectives of the organization. Your primary responsibility will be to support and partner with our retail teams across all stores (both international and national), ensuring that HR practices effectively drive business outcomes. This role involves a mix of strategic and operational HR activities, with a focus on talent management, employee engagement, performance management, and organizational development within the retail vertical.
Responsibilities:
- Talent Management: Work closely with retail leadership to identify staffing needs, manage recruitment processes, and ensure the development and retention of top talent in our retail stores.
- Employee Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for retail employees on HR-related matters, fostering a positive work environment and addressing any employee concerns or conflicts in a timely manner.
- Performance Management: Collaborate with store managers to implement performance management processes, including setting objectives, providing regular feedback, and conducting performance reviews.
- Training & Development: Identify training needs within the retail teams and coordinate relevant development programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of our retail workforce.
- Compliance & Policy Implementation: Ensure that all HR policies and procedures are effectively communicated and adhered to within the retail operations, maintaining compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Employee Engagement: Lead initiatives to drive employee engagement, motivation, and satisfaction within the retail teams, contributing to a positive and high-performing work culture.
- HR Metrics & Reporting: Monitor key HR metrics and provide regular reports and insights to retail leadership, helping to inform strategic decisions.
Qualifications:
- MBA in Human Resources
- 3 - 5 years of experience in HR or related field
- Strong organization, communication and conflict resolution skills
- Demonstrated ability to onboard new employees and manage HR tasks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Required Skills:
The ideal candidate will have experience in all areas related to the human resources field with prior experience in HR Business Partnering. Experience in managing retail teams and/or from luxury fashion background will be a plus.
