Job Description  

The Animator/Video Editor at Remedium Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. will have a primary objective of successfully delivering on creative briefs awarded to the ART team for development of creative Animation, AV, TV Commercial, GIF. 

 

The incumbent must be aware of current industry & market trends and that affect marketing and messaging. They must keep abreast of current & emerging developments in the Art domain. 


We are looking for an experienced Animator/Video Editor for our Art team, to assist in the creative development, execution and optimization of our & our client’s marketing efforts. 

The ideal candidate will have a passion for all things art.

You will be well-versed in the concepts surrounding Animator/Video Editor. You will be tech-savvy and intuitive with great ideas to reinforce our marketing campaign 

A strong communicator with meticulous attention to detail, the incumbent has to have solid organizational skills. Should work well as part of a team in high-pressure situations. 

Animator/Video Editor’s responsibilities include: 

  • Adapt and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience 

·    Proficiency in comprehending briefs to grasp production team’s needs and specifications and seek necessary clarifications

·    Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity 

·      Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film 

·      Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects and typography

·      Create rough and final cuts 

·      Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running 

·      Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process 

·   Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency. 


In addition to these general skills and personality traits, Remedium Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. seek a Visualizer with the following skills. 


Core skills: 

·      Proven work experience as a Video Editor 

·      Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects and Final Cut) 

·      Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio 

·      Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity 

·      Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing (Optional) 

·      Creative mind and storytelling skills 

·      BS degree in film studies, cinematography or related field  

 

Qualification Required:  


The role will require you to have a minimum of a graduate degree in any field. 

Art school graduate, NIFT Graduate, Masters in Fine Art, film studies institute, cinematography or related fields will be Preferred.
