Software Engineer

Work at the intersection of Energy, Weather & Climate Sciences and Artificial Intelligence
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain data engineering pipelines using Python.
- Implement and optimize database solutions with SQL and NOSQL Databases. (MySQL and MongoDB)
- Perform data analysis, profiling, and quality assurance to ensure high service quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-pipeline related issues, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of the codebase.
- Utilize GitHub for version control and collaboration.
- Implement and manage containerization solutions using Docker.
- Implement tech solutions to new product development, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Proficient in python programming skills and expertise with data engineering.
- Experience in databases including MySQL and NoSQL
- Experience in developing and maintaining critical and high availability systems will be given strong preference
- Experience working with AWS cloud platform.
- Strong analytical and data driven approach to problem solving
