Role Summary

This job takes the lead in providing more complex application development services typically as part of a project team or in an application support role. Developers analyze, design, code, test and implement more complex systematic solutions to meet customer requirements that adhere to IT standards and policies. Developers provide general support to maintain more complex applications that meet the service levels, system availability, performance and quality levels required by their customers. May mentor less experienced team members.


Essential Responsibilities

•Work on a cross-functional, solution-driven development team

•Implement new products and integrations in the League platform

•Uphold standards for quality by performing code reviews, fixing bugs, creating automated tests, and monitoring performance

•Help to align technical strategy with business goals

•Live our team values of ownership, innovation, cooperation, and empathy for our customer


Required

•6-9 years of software development experience using Java

o Backend Engineer: GoLang (minimum 2-3 years)

•Familiarity with database management systems.

•Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform services.

•Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Concourse.

•Experience building scalable, fault-tolerant web services and APIs

•Strong knowledge of and demonstrated experience with writing high-quality, testable and maintainable code.

•Strong communication skills to effectively understand requirements and explain technical concepts.
