What does this role hold for you…??

We are looking for a talented Cloud Security Engineer with 4-5.5 years of experience to focus on securing our AWS cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS services, a solid understanding of cloud security principles, and a proven track record of implementing and managing security controls in a cloud environment. If you are passionate about cloud security and eager to tackle complex challenges, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • AWS Security Management: Design, implement, and manage security controls for AWS services including IAM, VPC, EC2, S3, and RDS.
  • Security Assessments: Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and risk assessments to identify and address security gaps.
  • Incident Response: Develop and maintain incident response plans, manage security incidents, and conduct post-incident analysis.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations such as DPDP, ITGC and PCI-DSS. Implement and manage security policies and procedures.
  • Automation and Optimization: Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline security operations and improve efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with DevOps, engineering, and IT teams to integrate security practices into the development and deployment processes.
  • Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation on security policies, procedures, and configurations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: 4-5.5 years of experience in cloud security, with a focus on AWS.
  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of AWS security best practices, services, and tools.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in cloud security technologies, including but not limited to IAM, VPC, Security Groups, CloudTrail, and AWS Config.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security - Specialty, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or Professional, or equivalent.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex security issues.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Programming/Scripting Skills: Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional Certifications: Certifications such as Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) are a plus.
  • Experience with Other Cloud Providers: Familiarity with other cloud platforms like Google Cloud is advantageous.
