Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Taking leadership in the delivery of the cloud/big data solutions platform
  • Guide the team to deliver top-quality solution design and execution and providing support in defining the scope and sizing of work.
  • Utilize Big Data/Java technologies to design, develop, and evolve scalable and fault-tolerant distributed components.
  • Responsible for translating business requirements into big data technology solutions.
  • Manage and groom high caliber Engineering team towards delivery and organization goals.
  • Manage customer stakeholders for alignment on project delivery, status reporting and cadence
  • Guide team towards building frameworks, industry best practices, maintain high quality coding and delivery

Skills Preferred:

  • 14-19+ years of overall IT experience with Java/Cloud/ Data Engineering.
  • At least 5 – 7 years of experience in leading a Java/Data Engineering project delivery following Agile Methodologies
  • Senior Technical Manager with hands on experience in the space of Java/Data Engineering development.
  • Having worked in GCP Cloud Data infrastructure environment is highly required.
  • Strong Engineering Management experience in Application/Data Domain.
  • Strong people management skills. Ability to guide, groom team members towards organization goals.

  • Ability to lead initiatives and people toward common goals
  • Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and analytical skills
  • Strong Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Working experience of Application/Data Cloud Engineering Technical space of work
  • Preparation of Milestone plan and drive the team delivery aligned with the same.
  • Bring in the alignment on Strategic goals of the Program
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders/product owners/practitioners to drive the program goals
  • Proficiency with Agile software development management methodologies
  • Strong understanding of project management principles
  • Rapidly adapt and respond to changes and ability to effectively prioritize
  • Extensive experience leading, coordinating, and organizing remote teams in a collaborative environment.
