Key Requirements:

  • 8+ years of proven expertise on engineering scalable DWH applications with good expertise on OLAP Data Modeling, SQL Server, ETL Design & Development using SSIS
  • Experience of translating business needs into effective technical/data strategy and solution
  • Deep understanding of Data Structures and algorithms
  • Experience with designing OLAP Data models for Datawarehouses
  • Experience with relational SQL databases
  • Strong hands-on experience writing SQL queries incl advanced SQL
  • Strong working experience on different versions of SQL Server (2012 onwards)
  • Experience in designing and implementing solutions for Master Data Management
  • Experience with SQL Server migrations will be an added advantage
  • Experience in building highly scalable, reliable and self-heal data pipelines to process large datasets
  • Experience in building operational ETL data pipelines from a number of disparate sources like Files, Databases, WebServices, SharePoint etc
  • Strong development experience with SSIS
  • Experience working with SQL Agent for scheduling jobs and identifying issues with jobs
  • Experience working with Azure DevOps, maintaining and managing code with DevOps and automating deployment
  • Experience of working in multiple environments Dev, UAT & Prod
  • Preparing builds and performing deployments in higher environments
  • Supporting issues identified in UAT and Prod environments, troubleshooting and fixing the issues.
  • Troubleshooting server issues in Prod and other environments
  • Experience in Agile development methodologies
  • Microsoft certifications will be a plus
  • Strong problem solving and analytical mindset
  • Have a passion for solving problems with data
  • Willing to learn new skills and technologies
  • Self-starter with self-initiative and direction
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
  • Proven leadership capabilities, the ability to influence others
  • Demonstrable track record of dealing well with ambiguity, prioritizing needs, and delivering results in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively advocate technical solutions to engineering teams and business stakeholders.
