About the RoleWe’re looking for a Finance Content Writer who lives and breathes markets — someone who can turn complex financial developments into sharp, timely, and insightful stories. You’ll be responsible for writing news articles, blogs, and SEO content that help traders and investors stay ahead of the curve.This role needs someone with a deep understanding of financial news, markets, data sources, and writing for digital platforms — not just someone who rewrites what’s already out there.Key ResponsibilitiesTrack and identify important market news, corporate developments, and macroeconomic trends to create timely and relevant articles.Write blogs, news explainers, and SEO-friendly content from scratch — with clarity, accuracy, and timeliness.Maintain an editorial calendar of key financial and market events (results season, policy updates, major listings, etc.).Ensure data authenticity by sourcing information from credible outlets like NSE, BSE, SEBI, RBI, company filings, and verified financial databases.Use insights from data and trends to create original, high-quality content — not rewrites of other articles.Maintain quick and apt writing on time — timeliness without compromising accuracy.Monitor content performance metrics (traffic, engagement, rankings) and adapt strategy when needed.What We’re Looking For4-5 years of experience in finance writing — ideally from a newsroom, brokerage, fintech, or business publication.Strong understanding of stock markets, trading, investing, and key financial terms (non-negotiable).Ability to write quick and write right — crisp, factual, and time-sensitive.Excellent research and analytical skills to fetch authentic data from reliable sources and cross-verify information.Working knowledge of SEO best practices for blogs and articles.Familiarity with Google Search Console, SEMrush, or similar SEO tools.Understanding of where to find the right data — from NSE, BSE, SEBI, RBI, CMIE, to company filings.Experience writing for a fintech, trading app, or business publication.A natural curiosity for markets — someone who doesn’t just report news but understands what it means.Why Join SahiAt Sahi, we’re building India’s most high-performance trading platform — designed for serious traders who want speed, precision, and an edge.
