About Position:


Experience in design/development of core AOSP middleware systems (Media framework, Camera sub systems) using C and/or C++. Experience in implementing custom services, applications, and device management features. Good experience on Android 11, 12 and preferred 13.


  • Role: Android Framework Developer
  • Location: Bangalore (Brookfield/Whitefield area)
  • Experience: 4 to 12 Years
  • Job Type: Full Time Employment


What You'll Do:


  • Experience with Android & GNU Makefiles, ADB, SQLite, and shell scripts. Good understanding of AOSP build process.
  • In depth understanding of C, C++ and OOPS concepts. Hands-on knowledge on Android Application development.
  • Systems programming with multiple cores, threads, processes, sockets, etc.
  • Solid C/C++ 11 or higher developer experience in Linux software projects including the use of version control.
  • Experience with customizing SystemUI, navigation bar, and notifications.
  • Experienced in debugging and fixing BSP/Kernel/Android framework issues.
  • Hands-on/working knowledge on debugging ANRs, Tombstones
  • Able to modify the Android framework code for customization.
  • Experience in diagnosing complex system issues including strong debugging skills.


Expertise You'll Bring:


  • Experience in design/development of core AOSP middleware systems (Media framework, Camera sub systems) using C and/or C++.
  • Experience in implementing custom services, applications, and device management features.
  • Good experience on Android 11, 12 and preferred 13.
  • Deep understanding of Android architecture and framework, Middleware, UI concepts & overall architecture with Android 11, 12 and preferred 13.
  • Good Knowledge in Android HAL, JNI concepts
  • Experience in modifying Android framework services such as Window Manager, Activity Manager, Package Manager.
  • Experience with existing AOSP middleware service systems (IPC, system policy, etc).
