Job Description:

As a Creative Videographer & Video Editor with VFX Expertise for our hospitality company, you'll play a pivotal role in creating engaging and visually stunning food and beverage-centric brand-related content. You'll be responsible for conceptualizing, filming, editing, and enhancing video content that aligns with our brand identity and resonates with our target audience. Your keen eye for detail, technical skills in videography and editing, and proficiency in VFX will be essential in elevating our content to new heights.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conceptualization: Collaborate with the creative team to develop innovative concepts and ideas for video content that showcase our food and beverage offerings in an enticing and compelling manner.
  2. Filming: Utilize your videography expertise to capture high-quality footage of culinary experiences, food preparation processes, and beverage presentations at our various establishments.
  3. Editing: Seamlessly edit raw footage into polished, professional-quality videos that align with our brand aesthetics and storytelling objectives. This includes color correction, audio enhancement, and seamless transitions.
  4. VFX Integration: Leverage your expertise in visual effects to enhance the visual appeal of our videos, adding elements such as motion graphics, CGI, compositing, and animation where appropriate.
  5. Direction: Provide creative direction during filming sessions to ensure that the vision for each video is effectively executed. Direct talent and crew members to achieve desired outcomes.
  6. Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to understand campaign objectives and messaging, ensuring that video content effectively communicates key brand messages and drives engagement.
  7. Equipment Management: Maintain and operate video equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio recording devices, to ensure optimal performance during filming sessions.
  8. Research and Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in videography, editing, and VFX to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of our video content.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as a videographer and video editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your ability to produce high-quality, visually compelling content.
  2. Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve, with demonstrated skills in color grading, audio mixing, and video compositing.
  3. Expertise in visual effects software such as Adobe After Effects, Nuke, or Blender, with a track record of creating stunning VFX elements and integrating them seamlessly into video projects.
  4. Strong creative vision and storytelling abilities, with the ability to translate concepts into engaging visual narratives.
  5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and take direction from stakeholders.
  6. Experience in directing talent and crew members during filming sessions, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to achieving excellence.
  7. Knowledge of hospitality industry trends and a passion for food and beverage culture preferred, but not required.
