We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mendix Lead Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Mendix Lead Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying applications using the Mendix low-code platform. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, architects, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of the business while ensuring best practices are followed.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of Mendix-based applications, ensuring they meet business requirements and performance standards.
  • Provide technical leadership to the development team, offering guidance, mentorship, and troubleshooting assistance as needed.
  • Work closely with business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into Mendix app designs.
  • Perform hands-on development using Mendix Studio and Mendix Studio Pro to build web and mobile applications.
  • Ensure that the applications follow Mendix best practices and design principles, including security, performance, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with other developers and teams in an agile environment, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of features and fixes.
  • Define and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, user stories, and implementation details.
  • Support the deployment, maintenance, and post-launch activities of applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with new Mendix platform features, integrations, and industry trends to continually improve development processes and application quality.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 7+ years of experience in software development with at least 5+ years working specifically with Mendix.
  • Strong knowledge of the Mendix platform, including Mendix Studio Pro, Modeler, and various Mendix modules.
  • Familiarity with Mendix's advanced capabilities like microflows, Java actions, integration with external systems, and deployment to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular is a plus.
  • Knowledge of back-end technologies (e.g., databases, web services, APIs) and integration techniques (REST, SOAP).
