NUPI runs Multi-Brand Loyalty programs for our Partners and simplify some of the largest global Brands to acquire and retain customers online/offline aiming to be the trusted partner for consumers in their Brand selection process. It offers a Redemption Engine to consumers leveraging the group’s acquired SME-commerce capacities.

NUPI provides an all-in-one solution for Loyalty, rewards and recognition to empower brands to maximize their customer acquisition efforts and turn transactional sales into passionate brand advocates. NUPI builds omni channel (website, mobile App or In-store POS machines) CRM tech-solutions for its brand partners to enable community reach.


Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced AVP - Finance to oversee and manage our financial operations. The ideal candidate should be a results-oriented individual with excellent leadership and communication skills. As an AVP, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing budgets, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manage financial reporting: The financial controller is responsible for overseeing the preparation and distribution of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. They must ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data and comply with accounting standards.
  • Budgeting and forecasting: The financial controller is responsible for developing and managing the company's budget and forecasting processes, including monitoring actual performance against budgeted expectations and adjusting plans as necessary.
  • Compliance and risk management: The financial controller must ensure the company is in compliance with all financial regulations and laws, including tax laws and regulatory requirements. They also manage financial risk, including credit, market, and liquidity risk.
  • Manage financial operations: The financial controller is responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of the company, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  • Team management: The financial controller manages the finance team and ensures that team members have the necessary skills and resources to perform their duties effectively.
  • Analysis and strategy: The financial controller must analyze financial data and make recommendations to management on financial strategy, including investment opportunities and cost-saving measures.
  • Relationship management: The financial controller interacts with investors, auditors, and other stakeholders to provide financial information and ensure the company's financial health.
  • System management: The financial controller ensures that financial systems and tools are up-to-date and accurate, including accounting software, financial models, and other financial tools.
  • Overall, the financial controller plays a critical role in the financial health and success of a fintech company, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and strategic decision-making.


Core Competencies:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • Must be a qualified CA
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles and regulations
  • Experience managing budgets and financial reporting
