Position: LEAD STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

Location: CHENNAI

Experience - 15+ Years


Job Description:

  • Basic & detail Design Engineering activities for the assigned project(s) in Petrochemical Plants, Oil &Gas Plants, in accordance with the Company established procedures.
  • Preparation/review of Contract specifications, design calculation / analysis, procurement specification.
  • Interface with other disciplines, user departments and Clients.
  • Estimation / engineering work related to bids.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Qualification - Bachelor/Master’s Degree in civil and structural engineering
  • Skills Required-STAAD Pro. ETABS, SAP, STAAD Foundation is Preferable
  • Conversant with StaadPro & SAP software.
  • Hand son experience and knowledge of structural steel / reinforced concrete design & detailing of Process/non process buildings Machine foundations Pipe rack Factory Buildings etc.
  • Experience in international codes & standards is preferable.
  • Responsible for quality checks, quality assurance of reviewed drawings
  • Skills Required-STAAD Pro. ETABS, SAP, STAAD Foundation is Preferable

Skill Set:

  • Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team including process, mechanical, structural, electrical, instrumentation and piping.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with team members from project management, estimating, and

project controls

  • Strong organizational skills, technical competence, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to provide the supporting design calculations.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to produce coherent, self explanatory reports such as technical documents, market research analysis and business advisory.
