Our technology connects employers and job seekers seamlessly through intelligent automation, predictive analytics, and AI-driven personalization.Role DescriptionWe're seeking a talented Backend Developer to join our growing engineering team. You'll play a crucial role in building and scaling the server-side architecture of ARBEIT AI, working on cutting-edge AI-powered hiring and workforce management solutions. This is an opportunity to work with modern technologies and contribute to a platform that's transforming how India's Retail and Hospitality sectors connect with talent.Key Responsibilities• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js and Express.js• Build and optimize database schemas and queries in MongoDB for high-performance applications• Integrate AI/ML models and third-party services into the backend infrastructure• Implement robust authentication, authorization, and security best practices• Develop RESTful APIs and ensure seamless integration with frontend applications• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices• Collaborate with frontend developers, AI engineers, and product teams to deliver end-to-end features• Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and conduct code reviews• Participate in system architecture discussions and technical decision-makingRequired Skills & Qualifications• 2-4 years of professional experience in backend development• Strong proficiency in Node.js and Express.js framework• Extensive experience with MongoDB and database design• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture• Experience with authentication mechanisms (JWT, OAuth, etc.)• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and asynchronous programming• Familiarity with version control systems (Git/GitHub)• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure)• Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, Jest, Mocha)• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detailPreferred Qualifications• Experience with React.js (beneficial for understanding the full MERN stack)• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices• Experience with message queues (Redis, RabbitMQ) and caching strategies• Understanding of AI/ML integration and working with data-intensive applications• Previous experience in HR Tech, EdTech, or SaaS platforms• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
