Job Description

  • Lead the design, implementation, and expansion of the organizations enterprise computing and cloud solutions providing high performance and available enterprise and cloud computing services
  • Thorough experience in architecting Enterprise applications on AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure PaaS and Azure DB.
  • A successful candidate for this position will be able to demonstrate proficiency with the design, implementation and support of Microsoft solutions and exhibit strong project management and communication skills Lead Cloud Adoption and Migration engagements
  • Drive a fit for purpose Cloud Architecture and Design aligned with client wider architectural principles, policies and design
  • Work with engagement leads to manage design milestones, and ensure effective design governance around key design decisions
  • Work with compliance/security to ensure that cloud adoption is managed / governed in line with client standards and policies
  • Build strong internal relationships Experience as a Solutions Architect focusing on large scale, complex, transformational infrastructure solutions and in particular having experience in the Cloud Infrastructure space.
  • A good understanding of the Cloud Infrastructure, the propositions and services that support this and also the key drivers identified by organisations wishing to develop theirCloud Infrastructure Straegy
  • Knowledge and experience of multiple technologies and their business application.
  • High level of technical training / experience and multi-vendor product awareness (including multi-vendor knowledge).
  • Excellent negotiating skills and high commercial awareness.
  • Ability to present to a large external audience, both business and technical, ability to present at board level.
  • Experience in leading consultancy assignments within a wide variety organizations and with a wide range of technologies.
  • Ability to produce conceptual designs for multi technology solutions.
  • Ability to develop business cases involving complex ROI/TCO/Business benefit analysis, as well as the negotiation of Resource Cost Models.
  • Ability to create solution proposition Intellectual Property, for repeatable offerings.
  • Good people management, leadership, and ability to lead large multi-departmental teams of Computacenter and customer staff.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to articulate both technical and business ideas clearly and simply.
  • Proven ability producing documentation for a business and technical audience.
  • Analysis skills, lateral and highly creative thinking.
  • Strong team player both as part of virtual team and solutions team.
