Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conceptualise and create original denim designs that align with Best Denim's brand identity and market trends.
  2. Collaborate closely with the product development team to translate design concepts into tangible products, ensuring feasibility and manufacturability.
  3. Conduct thorough research on emerging fashion trends, fabric innovations, and consumer preferences to inform design decisions.
  4. Develop detailed technical sketches, specifications, and prototypes for new denim products, maintaining accuracy and consistency throughout the design process.
  5. Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to source materials, oversee production processes, and maintain product integrity.
  6. Stay abreast of industry developments and competitor activities to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
  7. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create compelling product presentations, campaigns, and promotional materials that highlight the unique features of our denim collections.


Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
  2. Proven experience as a fashion designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing denim designs and creative capabilities.
  3. Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD, as well as knowledge of garment construction and pattern-making techniques.
  4. Excellent understanding of denim fabric properties, dyeing techniques, and finishing processes.
  5. Strong aesthetic sensibility with a keen eye for color, texture, and silhouette.
  6. Effective communication skills with the ability to articulate design concepts and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
  7. Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality, accuracy, and craftsmanship.
  8. Passion for denim fashion and a deep understanding of global fashion trends and consumer preferences.
