Electrical Analyst and Developer (Battery Packing & Alignment)


Key Responsibilities:


Battery Management System (BMS) Selection and Analysis:

  • Evaluate and select appropriate Battery Management Systems for various applications.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of BMS performance, ensuring compliance with safety standards such as ISO26262 and IEC standards.

Electro-Chemical and Thermal Analysis:

  • Analyze the electro-chemical and thermal aspects of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) to optimize performance and reliability.
  • Implement thermal management strategies to enhance battery efficiency and safety.

Grid and Microgrid Experience:

  • Apply knowledge of grid and microgrid systems to integrate battery systems effectively.
  • Conduct load analysis and simulations using software tools like MATLAB script, Simulink, Homer, and ETAP.

Battery Inverter Logics:

  • Develop and optimize battery inverter logics, including various modes of operation such as VAR mode and PF mode.
  • Ensure efficient power conversion and management in different operational scenarios.

Battery Systems and Power Electronics:

  • Size and design battery systems, inverters, and DC-DC converters to meet project specifications.
  • Work on MV/HV substation design and integration to support large-scale energy storage solutions.

Software Design and Documentation:

  • Utilize UML diagrams for software design and documentation, ensuring clear and comprehensive technical specifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of design processes, analyses, and testing results for future reference and compliance.

Safety and Standards Compliance:

  • Ensure all designs and implementations comply with relevant safety standards, including ISO26262 and IEC standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to mitigate potential hazards in battery systems.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of X years of experience in electrical analysis and development, with a focus on battery systems and power electronics.
  • Strong fundamentals in physics and mathematics.
  • Knowledge of fundamental safety standards (ISO26262) and IEC standards.
  • Proficiency in BMS selection and analysis.
  • Expertise in electro-chemical and thermal aspects of BESS.
  • Experience with grid and microgrid systems.
  • Proficiency in load analysis software (MATLAB script, Simulink, Homer, ETAP).
  • Strong knowledge of battery inverter logics and various modes of operation (VAR mode, PF mode).
  • Understanding of battery systems, inverter and DC-DC converter sizing, and MV/HV substation design.
  • Proficiency in software design and documentation using UML diagrams.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:
