ABOUT THE ROLE

Manages one or more team members. This is a seasoned professional who has experience in Security Management, Investigations, and Interview techniques. Strong contacts with law enforcement agencies, Military agencies, and corporate security groups. The candidate must have updated hands-on information with all the tools and equipment required for the safety purposes of the organization and be capable of their utility at times of need.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

1. Responsible for the entire Security of the Indian Establishment including people and property safety and protection.
2. Oversee the Company’s Security protocols, and policy procedures implementation in other regions as on a requirement basis.
3. Responsible for conducting risk analysis for the premises, writing review reports, reviewing findings, and making cost-effective recommendations to the management. Participate closely with PKLT in business continuity planning
4. Formulation development & implementation of Security policies, protocols, and procedures to ensure the protection of People, Company property, and Assets.
5. Work as a single point of contact for all security-related matters.
6. Make liaisons with the emergency service, police, ambulance, and fire services.
7. Ensure compliance with the organization’s policies and security industry regulations.
8. Work as a single point of contact for all security-related matters. Supervise, recruit, train and check the background of the security personnel (including 3rd party).
9. Hands-on with all the tools and equipment required for safety purposes of the organization and capable of their utility at times of need
10. Ensure supervision of CCTV monitoring through CCTV Operators with a keen eye to changes in the atmosphere and brisk action planning.
11. Produce necessary reports, records, and documents to the management from time to time.
12. Prepare an emergency response plan and ensure the implementation of emergency drills to check the efficacy of the prepared plan.
13. Manage budgets for security operations and closely monitor expenses.
14. Working closely with external contractors (Law enforcement and Military Security agencies, Private Security Guarding / Risk Management Companies, Security Tracking Companies etc.) to ensure risks are known & appropriately managed.
15. Imparting Security Awareness training in India and assigned Regional Countries
16. Exclusively managed Expatriates' security within the country and organized comprehensive security briefing to expatriates’ evacuation plan in the event of evaluated security threat.

• Considerable knowledge of security regulations, practices, concepts.

• Considerable skill in exercising sound judgment, and initiative, including reacting quickly, calmly in emergency situations, working without immediate supervision.
• Skills in effective verbal communication relating to people in a professional, pleasant manner, exercising tact, and diplomacy at all times.
• Skills in writing clear, concise, legible reports. Ability to remain alert at all times under adverse conditions. Ability to work beyond office hours, on weekends as and when required.
• Skill in using a computer for basic word processing and data entry/retrieval.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

• Preferably a Bachelor’s degree in addition to ten to fifteen years of progressive experience in Military or Law Enforcement agencies including in managing the security arrangements of a large organization. Considerable experience in commercial, and corporate security, including experience with electronic technology, and security issues.
• Possession of strong organizational skills, superior communications skills, the ability to effectively work independently, and proven supervisory skills.
• Experience with disaster recovery planning, auditing, risk analysis, contingency planning; and security devices; as well as contract, vendor negotiation experience.
• Ability to effectively prioritize work in a highly dynamic work environment.
• Must possess a proactive attitude with regard to security protection, must be capable of strategically assessing company’s security needs, have a track record in areas such as crisis management, investigation, facility security, executive protection.
• Preferably, should have a basic understanding of the access and use of electronic security systems. Must be flexible enough to deal with varied business cultures and possess interpersonal skills to perform well in where recommendations and advice are sought and valued, but perhaps not always acted upon.
