Role overview: Responsible for Platform level Software Development for client's Automotive chipsets.Areas of Responsibility:Software Development of device drivers used for Communication or signal generation/measurements (eg: SPI, UART, PWM, ADC, DMA etc.) and safety software in an independent/RTOS environment on client’s Automotive Microcontrollers based on TriCore architecture or equivalentDevelop Architecture, Design, Code for microcontroller complex device driversPerform Static checks (Cyclomatic complexity, MISRA evaluation, Poly space warnings analysis) and Unit Tests.Support lead with work breakdown structure and estimatesInstitutionalize software test processes compliant with Automotive standards (e.g. ISO26262, ASPICE).Requirements:B.Tech/BE/M.Tech/MS in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Science/InstrumentationA minimum of 3-6 years of experience in Device Driver software development which includes a good know how of standard software development Life CycleGood knowledge of computer architecture (16/32bit), real-time systemEmbedded system software development using C, assembly languagesExperience in tools such as compilers, debuggers (PLS, Lauterbach), static analysers etcAcquaintance with development tool-chains like compiler, static checkers & UT toolKnowledge about debuggers such as PLS, Lauterbach etcExperience in AUTOSAR MCAL and exposure to ISO26262 is desirable.Working experience in scripting languages such as Perl, python etcAbility and willingness to work with multi-disciplinary teamsAbility to perform tasks independently
