Business Operations Officer

Person in this role will :


  1. Handle with efficiency and accuracy the entire trade process of purchasing and selling equities and cash derivatives in the international market in an institutional setup
  2. Interact with brokers, fund accounting and custody vendors to carry out the trading and post trading activities in an efficient manner. 
  3. Understand and rigorously follow rules governing equity investing, DMAT accounts
  4. Carry out portfolio NAV, performance and performance fee calculations
  5. Monitoring of fee collection 
  6. Able to look after the onboarding formalities, estate transfer in PMS and AIF
  7. Provide business update to the fund manager and recommend business action
  8. Manage treasury part of the investment fund 
  9. Other related activities 

 

The person should 


  1. have a solution oriented mindset
  2. be able to work with minimal instructions 
  3. have a good  command of spoken and written English
  4. have a proven ability to handle details and complete necessary work. 
  5. Be able to operate a computer keyboard at a minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute (as verified using an online typing test)
  6. have proficiency in advanced spreadsheet features. 
  7. stay on top of new developments
  8. come up with business development ideas and solutions
