Job Title : Head – Connectivity & Ground Access
Client: One of India's leading Services & Infrastructure Conglomerates with interests in Airports, Retail, Urban Infrastructure, Airport Development, Services Business etc
Salary Budget: upto 50 LPA
Position Summary:
To lead the Connectivity & Ground Access function at 2 Airports and ensure identification, planning, design, interfacing and effective implementation of short term and long term ground access projects of the Airport(s) including obtaining all required approvals & clearances, facilitation of route alignment, land acquisition & Right of Way related to connectivity, completion of various road based and or metro based projects. Preparation of Transportation plan considering the city and regional ingress and egress, parking, pick up and drop off requirements wrt approach to Passenger terminals, cargo terminal, and other Airport land parcels within Airport premises and compliance to all statutory and regulatory requirements associated with connectivity.
Responsibilities:
Planning and execution of New road connections/ corridors through NHAI/ PWD; upgradation and circulation improvement of exiting junctions and other roundabouts; capacity analysis –augmentation, grade separation projects through relevant agencies/ ministries and stakeholders.
Improvement of Metro and rail based connectivity and public Transport infrastructure for airport ensuring efficient inter modal integration
Planning and execution of internal masterplan roads/ corridors through internal teams; upgradation and circulation improvement of exiting junctions and other roundabouts; capacity analysis –augmentation, grade separation projects. MLCP and parking site management; Traffic signs and safety issues.
Traffic Circulation and recommendations based on thorough assessment of impact of ALD land parcel
Masterplan for Cargo City/ Circulation for Existing Cargo Area
Integration of leading Airport with different Railway Terminals; Ferry ports and other Bus Terminals
Liaison with Public Administration and relevant stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS
B Arch/BE Civil/ know how of Auto-CAD
Preferred Qualification & Experience:
- B Arch with 15 years of relevant experience in Traffic Engineering/ Transportation Engg or Planning/ Highway Engineering
- Well versed with preparation of different alignment options of Highway/ Road projects and select the best option based on site visit of project stretches and assessment of available constraints
- Well versed with alignment improvement and capacity augmentation of Highway/ Road projects
- Well versed with the traffic geometric design safety criteria recommended by IRC guidelines
- Adequate experience of working on road improvement projects with good understanding of improvement of geometrics of existing roads, junction improvement plans, Traffic Management Plan (TMP), traffic diversion plan, utility diversion plan during construction and dealing with land acquisition issues
- Detailed Quantity Estimation and preparation of BOQ for costing of the project, check and review the itemize quantities calculation prepared by subordinates/ colleague/ consultant - Evaluation and finalization of different Engineering Consultant, Contractors, preparation of Work Order, etc.
- Proficient in use of Auto-CAD and should be able to work out solutions based on site visits / ground situation/ site constraints and translate those ideas into workable drawings and present the same to different internal and external stakeholders
- Thorough knowledge of Indian Standards, best practices, statutory guidelines, IRC guidelines, design principles for different terrains
- Liaison with external stakeholders, design consultants, supervision consultants, contractors, government agencies, relevant ministries, state departments, internal teams etc.
- Experience of handling construction of toll roads, operation of toll roads, issues of toll leakage, operations of toll plaza, issues related to accessibility of airport.
