Position Overview: The CEO will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to the company, ensuring sustainable growth, operational excellence, and adherence to environmental and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the metal and mining industry, with exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and operational management skills.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the company’s long-term strategy to achieve business goals and objectives.
  • Operational Management: Oversee all aspects of operations, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage the company’s financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, government bodies, and community leaders.
  • Sustainability and Safety: Promote a culture of safety and sustainability, ensuring all operations adhere to environmental and safety regulations.
  • Innovation and Growth: Drive innovation and identify opportunities for growth and expansion within the industry.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a high-performing executive team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 18 years of experience in the metal and mining industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Education: Advanced degree in Mining Engineering, Metallurgy, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
  • Skills: Strong strategic planning, financial acumen, operational management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, drive change, and deliver results in a complex and dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in sustainability and safety.
