Overview

This role is to assist Product manager in building of new products and enhancements. The role shall be integral part of product management team contributing to the development and success of TresVista's technology product portfolio. The incumbent will get an opportunity to work and build multitenant technology that works at scale. Ease of use, data security and configurability are foundation element of the Product. The Assistant Product Manager will collaborate closely with customers, service delivery line leaders and engineering team to document, detail requirements, design, develop and launch high impact features. The product is designed to provide frictionless interface for onboarding, creating and automating work items lifecycles, and doing process analytics (checking work progress, reviewing work-products, providing feedback) for our customers along with seamless task allocation, track work progress for our managers and view assigned work specifications, get requirement clarification, provide work progress updates and submit work products for our SMEs. The Product is for all our service delivery lines including Research services, CFO services, Data intelligence services and Process support services.


Roles and Responsibilities

▪ Product development Support

a. Assisting in conducting research, observing market trend, and identifying opportunities

b. Working with Product Manager in development of new products and features

c. Concretizing organization objective(s), build product vision, roadmap along with leadership

▪ Requirement gathering and detailing

a. Preparing and maintaining product development documents like product backlogs, detailing epics, writing user stories, writing Product Requirement Document (PRD), manuals and marketing material

b. Translating product vision, roadmap to working feature and progress to cross-functional stakeholders

c. Collecting, prioritizing, and addressing user feedback and feature requests

▪ Drive development

a. Collaborating closely with the stakeholders: Design team for designing UI/UX, engineering team to design and develop technical solution

b. Working closely with the testing team and do quality control checks

▪ Analyzing and Monitoring

a. Recording product defects, analyzing requirements and work on impact analysis of planned features

b. Gathering Product Data including user behavior, web analytics, product usage, KPI’s/KRA for feature(s) and synthesizing insights

c. Do A/B tests and select solution approach for problems

▪ Knowledge Transfer

a. Communicating product information and updating to internal teams and external stakeholders b. Training internal departments & external stakeholders on new features

c. Understanding customer needs and translating them into detailed product specifications including mockups, user stories, test cases, etc.


Prerequisites

▪ Excellent spoken and written communication, receptive listening skills, and ability to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences

▪ Ability to work with ambiguity, balance multiple work items, and learn quickly

▪ Experience with enterprise-level software applications and technologies will be advantageous

▪ Familiarity with Product Development Life Cycle and strong technical skills in a fast-paced, Agile Scrum environment


Experience

▪ Open for freshers, however 1-3 years of experience in a similar role would be preferred. Previous Product Management internship experience is highly valued

▪ Strong process driver with exposure to Mockup tools – Figma and Adobe Xd, Agile management -Jira and Confluence/or other software


Education

Engineering or Management degree from a premier Institute (IIT and/or IIM preferred)
