Job Title: Control Systems Engineer
Location: Bengaluru/Coimbatore, India.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop temperature control strategies for semiconductor process chambers (batch as well as single wafer).
- Interface with hardware, software, and process engineering teams to understand process specifications, hardware capabilities and software platforms to architect temperature control solutions.
- Implement robust, repeatable, and flexible temperature control schemes for variety of processes & conditions.
- To develop, deploy and maintain the thermal system control logic for our process equipment.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- PhD + 0 years or Masters + 5 years of experience with background in electrical engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science or mathematics with emphasis on control theory or complex systems. Current PhD candidates with a strong background will also be considered.
- Expertise in control theory, especially development of PID and model-based control strategies for MIMO systems.
- Expertise in using MATLAB/Simulink or other equivalent software platforms for development; experience in implementing control software in embedded systems is a plus.
- Useful but not critical: CFD simulation capabilities (e.g. ANSYS) and able to interface with simulation team to drive studies to understand thermal and flow dynamics of process chambers.
- Strong programming, documentation, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Team player with a positive attitude and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
