The Accountant will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting and bookkeeping tasks. This role requires exceptional data entry skills, proficiency in accounting software, and strong communication abilities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with QuickBooks, Xero, and MYOB, and possess a thorough understanding of accounting principles.


Key Responsibilities:


Data Entry: Accurately enter financial data into accounting systems and ensure timely updates.


Bookkeeping: Maintain and reconcile accounts, process transactions, and ensure accurate record-keeping.


Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports to support decision-making processes.


Account Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and other financial documents.


Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting regulations, standards, and internal policies.


Communication: Communicate effectively with team members, management, and external stakeholders to provide

financial insights and resolve any issues.


Software Utilization: Utilize QuickBooks, Xero, and MYOB to manage and track financial transactions and reports.


General Accounting Tasks: Perform various accounting functions such as invoicing, payroll processing, tax preparation, and financial forecasting.


Qualifications:


Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role with hands-on experience in all accounting tasks.

Proficient in QuickBooks, Xero, and MYOB accounting software.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

Relevant accounting certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are a plus but not required.
