Overview:

Social Alpha is looking for a Manager with over 8 years’ work experience to join our dynamic and creative marketing team. You will play a critical role in developing and executing our communications strategy, ensuring it aligns with our brand voice and engages our target audience across various digital platforms. You will write and create compelling content that can invoke curiosity and increase engagement with the reader or viewer.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with our mission, goals, target audience, and brand identity.
  • Define and maintain a consistent brand voice across all content channels.
  • Establish and consistently manage a carefully structured content calendar and ensure deliverables including articles, blogs, videos, infographics, social media posts and any other content as may be required from time to time.
  • Manage and optimise content on various digital platforms, including the company website, social media channels, and email campaigns.
  • Use a range of video, audio, and digital tools to research, write, assemble, edit and deliver outputs in the appropriate medium, to the highest professional standards
  • Conduct internal and external interviews with stakeholders to strengthen storytelling and narratives.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and best practices. Implement editorial SEO strategies to enhance the discoverability of our content, improve organic search rankings, and drive relevant traffic to our digital platforms.
  • Develop and nurture connections with external partners, vendors, and organizations in the social sector to harness collaborative opportunities and broaden the audience for our content.
  • Manage a network of creative professionals, including content creators, writers, designers, and others.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Experience at an advertising agency or English broadcast or digital news organisation at the editorial, with experience in working with video and graphics is a must.
  • Proven experience (8+ years) in content strategy development and execution, with a strong focus on SEO optimization and digital platforms.
  • Prior experience in marketing/communications with social impact organisations either on client side or agency side would be highly preferred.
  • Ability to write creatively in an engaging and compelling manner, adapt, produce and translate with accuracy, clarity and style appropriate to differing audiences and forms of media suitable for multimedia.
  • Strong analytical skills to inform content decisions and measure performance based on data-driven insights
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of creative professionals.
