Position: Inside Sales Specialist

Location: Delhi NCR/ Mumbai/ Pune

At DigitalPaani, we're building the future of water to help meet up to 65% of urban water needs and solve the growing water and climate crisis across the world. Today, 75% of the wastewater treatment facilities (STPs/ ETPs) in factories and buildings don't work properly because the expertise and data to handle such complex operations doesn't exist at the ground level. Our IoT-enabled software platform for water is serving this $17 billion opportunity by managing the complete operations cycle for each one of these facilities and transforming them into compliant units delivering high quality water. We've been awarded by Cartier, Niti Aayog and FICCI for our innovative approach, backed by international investors like Elemental Excelerator (first Asian company in their portfolio), and serve top-tier clients like Amazon, Reliance, Tata Power, Taj Hotels, and more. 

We are looking for a dynamic Inside Sales Associate to join our team. This role is essential for generating and qualifying sales leads through targeted outreach, cold calls, and cold emails. You will be at the forefront of our growth strategy, identifying potential customers and helping expand our reach in key markets.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to

Lead Generation and Prospecting

  • Develop and maintain a target database of potential customers.
  • Reach out via cold calls, cold emails, and LinkedIn outreach to generate leads
  • Qualify leads to assess their potential as customers
  • Clearly communicate DigitalPaani's value proposition and tailor messaging to each prospect.
  • Set up appointments and product demos for the sales team.

Pipeline Management and Reporting

  • Accurately track interactions and update lead status in CRM software.
  • Work closely with the growth team to align lead generation strategies.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities

  • 2-4 years of experience in inside sales, business development or pre-sales, preferably in B2B environment
  • Past experience of working at startups in a fast-paced, dynamic environment would be an advantage
  • Professionals from any educational background/major are welcome to apply. 
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with fluency in English and Hindi.
  • Ability to conduct cold calls and cold emails effectively.
  • Experience with CRM tools 
  • High level of self-motivation, persistence, and a results-driven mindset.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment.
