Position: IB Primary Years Teacher (Grade 1 – 5)

Role Overview:

As an IB Primary Years Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining our successful Primary Years Programme (PYP) by creating an educational atmosphere conducive to inquiry-based learning and holistic development.

Responsibilities:

- Design, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of all students within the framework of the PYP.

- Inspire and engage mixed-culture and mixed-ability classes through challenging and meaningful learning experiences.

- Assess and monitor student progress, providing targeted feedback and support to ensure continuous improvement.

- Collaborate with fellow educators to share innovative ideas, pedagogical approaches, and professional expertise.

- Maintain open and effective communication with parents to ensure their involvement in their child's education journey.

- Work closely with the Head of Primary School and PYP Coordinator to effectively deliver the curriculum, manage classroom resources, and uphold academic standards.

- Contribute to the school's extracurricular activities program and actively participate in school events, assemblies, and conferences.

Requirements:

- Postgraduate degree preferred, with a specialization in education or related field.

- Prior experience with the IB PYP curriculum is highly desirable.

- Candidates with international teaching experience will be given preference, demonstrating an understanding of diverse cultural perspectives and educational contexts.
