Intern - LLM Development for English Tutoring (Hospitality Sector)

As part of this mission, we are developing an AI-driven English Tutor powered by large language models (LLMs), specifically tailored to the unique communication needs of hospitality professionals.

We are seeking a motivated part-time intern to assist in this exciting project. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in artificial intelligence, natural language processing (NLP), and their real-world applications in the hospitality sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curate and prepare datasets related to hospitality communication and scenarios for LLM training.
  • Support in fine-tuning language models for industry-specific use cases.
  • Develop and refine conversational prompts and scenarios that replicate real-world interactions in hospitality.
  • Test the model’s performance, gather feedback, and contribute to iterative improvements.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends in AI, NLP, and language learning technologies.
  • Document workflows, datasets, and results in a structured manner.

Who You Are:

  • Educational Background: Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Linguistics, or a related field.
  • Skills:
  • Familiarity with Python and tools such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Basic understanding of NLP techniques.
  • Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).
  • Preferred Knowledge:
  • Experience with tools like Hugging Face or OpenAI API.
  • Interest in language learning or hospitality.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Analytical thinker with problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable to a dynamic environment.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively.
