Executive Assistant to MD and Head of Corporate Strategy

Mumbai only position : We are looking for someone who will virtually shadow the management and be their first port of call to make their vision articulated in an execution plan and is actually put to the ground, while making their life free of day-to-day bottlenecks. The job at hand would be like an amoeba that takes different shapes and can expand and contract. At times, it would be higher-order jobs like to design or action corporate governance pieces like appraisal systems, set growth agenda or to get company level MIS, or to make a presentation on company health or attending next level meetings on behalf of the management and at other times, to assist the Managing Director to work his calendar or help him answer personnel questions. Most secretarial job will be done by someone else but parts could also be intertwinedIn specific, the work includesGet done things of organizational importanceCo-ordinate with key leaders and heads to get organizational decisions implementedDraft, review and send management communications of strategic importanceWriting presentations, actioning strategy, preparing for reviews and writing new processesFollow-ups with lead staff to make sure such decisions are executedOrganise and prepare for meetings, including gathering documents and attending to the logistics of meetingsMaintain records and documents of confidential natureManaging MIS, budgets, variance analysis on a quarterly basisManage schedule for the Managing directorCommunicating the firm’s strategy across the firm to key external stakeholders in coordination with the corporate communication and marketing groupsIndependently leading a project/work stream at any time from project scoping, creating content and managing stakeholders to generate insights, and preparing outputs which enable informed decisionsSupporting the development of the forward-looking strategy of the firm and strategic plans that enable execution of enterprise-wide strategic projects (examples could be the firm’s customer Pricing strategy or Large Customer strategy)Providing leadership to address key strategic issues and opportunities, working in collaboration across multiple functions and channels, often in a consultative mannerCollaborating with business unit leaders in gaining their input into the firm’s strategic direction helping coordinate their efforts in alignment with the firm’s strategic planOverseeing industry, market, competitor, and financial analysis However, as put earlier the work will expand and contract with individual endeavour and aptitude Skills Required Graduate from a B+ grade management school (finance) with at least 2 years of experience or a Chartered AccountantExcellent written and verbal communication skillsTime-management skills and attention to detailOrganizational and Interpersonal skillsAbility to multitaskProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteGo-getter and self-motivated, wanting to climb the corporate ladder quicklySimilar experience is preferred, especially in a people-driven organisationExperience in a people driven organisation is an added advantage
