Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Hyderabad for an Electrical Technician. The Electrical Technician will be responsible for performing electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance. They will also troubleshoot electrical issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.This is a full-time, on-site role located in Hyderabad. As an Electrical Engineer at AAvi Projects, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and components. Your day-to-day tasks will include Testing and commissioning of LT & HT Panels, Transformer, laying of LT & HT cable, internal wiring of Building, fixing of light fixtures, earthing for panels & lighting arrester, fixing of Tray Raceway.

Working on AutoCAD, Installation, testing & commissioning of DG sets, UPS system, PDUs, Isolation transformer Read and understand the Electrical Technical Specification, Design Basis Report, Technical Report, BOQ, Single Line Diagram (SLD), Substation layout, Battery & UPS layout, MV & LV DG room layout and implementing the Electrical regulations during the project design.

Responsible for review and check the vendor drawings for various equipment's like AIS, GIS, HT Panels, Power & Distribution Transformers, HT & LT DG, LT Panels, UPS, Bus duct, Rising Main, Light Fixtures, Solar Panels, Trays, Trunking, Conduits, Power Sockets, Wires, Cables and Subcontractor shop drawings.

Implement electrical safety measures and protocols to ensure the safety of personnel and equipment.

Stay updated on industry best practices for electrical safety. Work closely with architects, mechanical engineers, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems within the projects.

Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to optimize overall performance. Create and maintain detailed electrical design documentation, drawings, and specifications. Provide technical support during the construction and commissioning phases of the projects.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Technician or a similar role
  • Thorough knowledge of electrical systems and components
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
  • Electrical Technician certification is preferred
  • Associate degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a related field is a plus
