Currently, the company is in the expansion stage with our factory being set up and getting ready for our vehicle delivery in August. Job Profile :


We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Vehicle Dynamics Manager to join our team, The ideal candidate will have a strong background with 8 - 12 years overall. Hand on experience with vehicle geometry, ergonomics, suspension, brakes, tires & wheels, Benchmark profiling etc.

Must have done subjective and objective testing of the complete brake system, suspension, Tires etc. Ride and Handling behavior tuning of a vehicle


Key Responsibilities:


Subjective and Objective Testing:

  • Conduct and oversee comprehensive vehicle dynamics tests, including both subjective (driver feel) and objective (instrumented) assessments.
  • Analyze test data to develop actionable insights and recommend improvements.


Chassis Development:

  • Lead the design, testing, and optimization of vehicle chassis systems to enhance handling, stability, and overall performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate chassis systems into vehicle designs.


Suspension Development:

  • Develop and refine suspension systems to ensure optimal ride comfort, handling, and safety.
  • Utilize advanced simulation tools and real-world testing to validate suspension designs.


Brakes Development:

  • Oversee the development and testing of braking systems, ensuring they meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Implement innovative braking solutions to enhance vehicle control and safety.


Tire Development:

  • Collaborate with tire manufacturers to develop and select tires that complement vehicle dynamics.
  • Conduct tire testing and analysis to ensure compatibility with vehicle performance goals.


Data Acquisition:

  • Utilize data acquisition hardware such as 2D, VBOX, and AIM or other hardware to collect, analyze, and interpret vehicle dynamics data.
  • Ensure accurate data collection and develop comprehensive reports to support development activities.


Team Leadership:

  • Mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure project milestones and objectives are achieved.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering (BE) is a must.
  • Master's Degree in a relevant field is a plus.


Experience:

  • 8-10 years of relevant work experience in vehicle dynamics, with a strong emphasis on subjective and objective testing, chassis, suspension, brakes, and tire development.


Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in using data acquisition hardware such as 2D, VBOX, and AIM or other loggers.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Familiarity with vehicle dynamics simulation tools and software.


Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Leadership and project management capabilities.
