Role Description


This is a full-time on-site role for a Fabric Merchandiser at TOPMAN INTERNATIONAL. As a Fabric Merchandiser, your primary responsibility will be to manage the sourcing, production, and delivery of fabrics. You will work closely with suppliers, manufacturers, and customers to ensure timely delivery and meet customer requirements. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, managing inventory, and resolving any issues related to fabric production and delivery.


Qualifications


  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • Strong organisational and decision making skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Commercial awareness
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with textile and fabric industry is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Fashion Merchandising, Business, or related field


Key Responsibilities:


  • Sampling and development for buyers.
  • Daily communication with buyer and supplier.
  • Manage the sourcing, production, and delivery of fabrics. 
  • Candidate will work closely with suppliers, manufacturers, and customers to ensure timely delivery and meet customer requirements. 
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate records, managing inventory, and resolving any issues related to fabric production and delivery.
  • To follow up in all stages of production in the factory from sample making to shipment.
  • Drawing up the master schedule to establish production sequence and lead time of each production to meet delivery dates.
  • To improve the production and distribution process applying the knowledge of supply chain and distribution management.
  • Candidate should have detailed knowledge about textiles and fabrics.
  • Candidate should be well versed with all textiles terminology.


Experience

3-5 years of experience having worked in a textile manufacturing company.
