Equitane is hiring a Plant Head for their JV Partner which is into manufacturing of various pharmaceutical products. The manufacturing units are designed to meet the current global standards of GMP and safety standards for personnel.


Designation - Plant Head

Location - Benin, Africa

Experience required - 15 years Experience in Pharmaceutical manufacturing plant


Key Roles & Responsibilities -

  • To overall follow general administration activity from the location of factory and management.
  • To overall review performance of the location / factory.
  • Designate the responsibilities to the team mates and making sure that team mates are following it.
  • Ensure the plant capacity is being fully utilized and plan the contract manufacturing to meet the target production as per rolling plan.
  • Participate in monthly rolling plan and plan the materials, equipment, manpower for the upcoming months of production.
  • Ensure that materials are being supplied as per customer requirement in terms quality, quantity and packing required.
  • Ensure that raw materials and packing materials are available for the monthly production.
  • Ensure that the compliance of the local and national regulations.
  • Adherence with CGMP requirement as per the guidelines.
  • Ensure the implementation of CAPA in the site.
  • Ensuring cleaning and sanitization of area and equipment’s.
  • Ensure that quality policy and safety, environment and health policy are included to all employed and implemented in entire plant.
  • Ensure that the capital expenditure is in place for the future requirements and get it approved by top management.
  • Making sure that cordial relationships are being maintained with team mates, customer, vendors and other interested parties for smooth functioning of the plant.
  • Ensuring that ongoing new projects are moving as per schedules.
  • Monitoring & Controlling of the plant and ensure that the probability is as per commitment to the top management.
  • Identifying and initiating the programs to develop team mates and different level of employee in the plant.
  • Facilities resource for establishing environment, occupational health and safety management systems.
  • Review the EHS performance of the local and monitor progress of EHS management programs
  • Co-operate with Human Resource department in manpower planning, recruitment activities and identifying the training needs.
  • Implementation of policies which are being set by the top management.
