Role Description:


We are seeking an experienced Sybase Database Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 8 + years of experience and be proficient in managing Sybase versions 12.5 to 16.0. This role requires strong expertise in production database operations, ITIL framework, incident management, and crisis management


Job Description:


Key responsibilities include client project management, technology roadmaps, and optimizing BAU tasks using LEAN methodology. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, decision-making, and the ability to work in a rapidly changing environment. Expertise in Sybase (versions 12.5 to 16.0), automating PSU patching, performance tuning, query optimization, and managing security parameters is essential. Proficiency in T-Sybase scripting, PowerShell, and Python, as well as experience with tools like SSMS, DBArtisan, Putty, and ServiceNow, is required.
