Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Group Head, Creative to lead and inspire our creative team. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of artistic expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership skills. This role involves overseeing the creative direction for multiple projects, managing a team of creative professionals, and ensuring that all creative output aligns with the company’s brand and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creative Leadership:
- Lead the creative team in the development of innovative concepts and campaigns.
- Set and maintain high standards for creative excellence and ensure all work meets those standards.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive creative environment.
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement creative strategies that align with the company’s goals.
- Collaborate with senior management to define creative direction and ensure alignment with overall business strategy.
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate relevant insights into creative strategies.
- Team Management:
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of creative professionals, including designers, copywriters, and art directors.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Identify training and development needs and create opportunities for team growth.
- Project Management:
- Oversee the creative process from concept to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with project managers, account managers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources effectively.
- Client Relations:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on creative matters.
- Present creative ideas and concepts to clients, incorporating their feedback into the final product.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all creative work is consistent with the company’s brand identity and guidelines.
- Conduct regular reviews of creative output to maintain quality and consistency.
- Implement processes to streamline creative production and improve efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Advertising, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in a creative role, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality creative work across various media.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of creative projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and translate business objectives into creative strategies.
- Proficiency in creative software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Experience in digital marketing and understanding of current trends in digital media.
- Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
