Position Overview: 

We are looking for a talented and motivated Software Development Engineer II (SDE II) specializing in React Native to join our dynamic team at CricClubs. As an SDE II, you will play a key role in designing and developing mobile applications that provide seamless user experiences across multiple devices. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to build innovative features, enhance performance, and ensure the highest quality of our mobile offerings. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Mobile App Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications using React Native. 
  • Feature Implementation: Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to implement new features and enhancements that align with our product vision. 
  • Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring smooth and responsive mobile experiences. 
  • Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following best practices and coding standards. 
  • Testing and Debugging: Implement unit tests and conduct thorough debugging to ensure application stability and reliability. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including backend developers, UX/UI designers, and QA engineers, to deliver high-impact products. 
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, helping them grow their technical skills and understanding of the mobile app development process. 
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies, and proactively suggest improvements to our development process. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Experience: 4-6 years of experience in mobile application development, with a strong focus on React Native. 
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern mobile development frameworks. Experience with native mobile development (iOS/Android) is a plus. 
  • Deployment: Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and deliver effective solutions. 
  • Version Control: Experience with version control systems like Git. 
  • Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile development practices and experience working in a fast-paced startup environment. 
  • Communication: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Solid understanding of mobile app development lifecycle, including deployment to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. 
  • Familiarity with mobile app analytics and performance monitoring tools. 
  • Knowledge of cricket or experience working in the sports technology domain is a plus.
