Roles and Responsibilities:

•Conduct full-scope Red Team Assessments, including Network Penetration Testing, Application Penetration Testing, Social Engineering, Phishing Assessments, DOS Assessments, Active Directory Pen Testing and physical security evaluations (optional).

•Develop and execute realistic attack scenarios to identify vulnerabilities in client systems.

•Utilize knowledge of the cyber kill chain to identify and exploit weaknesses at each stage, helping to improve detection and response strategies.

•Create detailed reports documenting the assessment process, findings, and recommendations.

•Stay updated on the latest attack techniques, tools, and tactics used by adversaries.

•Provide expert guidance on improving security measures and implementing best practices.

•Participate in post-assessment debriefs with clients to explain findings and remediation steps.

•Develop and refine red team methodologies and tools to enhance assessment capabilities.

•Apply understanding of OWASP, NIST, and MITRE frameworks to guide assessments and enhance security recommendations.


Qualifications:

•B. Tech/BE/M.Tech/MSc in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology or a related field; or equivalent experience.

•1+ years of experience in red team operations, penetration testing, or related cybersecurity roles.

•Certifications such as PNPT, OSCP, CRTP, CRTO, CRTE, CRTL, or similar are highly desirable.


Technical Skills Required:

•Strong knowledge of common attack vectors, exploitation techniques, and adversary tactics.

•Proficiency with penetration testing tools (e.g., Metasploit, Burp Suite, Bloodhound, Mimikatz, Nessus, Rengine etc).

•Experience with scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash).

•Hands-on Experience is performing Network Security Assessment and vulnerability Assessment.

•Good understanding of OSI layers and fundamental Operating system concepts, security settings for various Flavors of Windows and Linux platforms.

•Manual Penetration Testing skills and techniques are required besides automated tools and frameworks.

•Familiarity with OWASP, NIST, and MITRE frameworks.

•Familiar with concepts of Active Directory and Experience with Active Directory Attacks (eg. Golden Ticket, Silver Ticket, Over-the-pass-hash, Delegation based attacks, Trust Abuse etc)

•Understanding of common Cryptography Techniques.

•Experience reviewing Source Code for security flaws in the front-end source code.

•Experience conducting Wireless Security Assessments.

•Experience conducting Web Application Security Assessment.

•Familiar with exploitations and working with Publicly available exploits codes.

•Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

•Strong written and verbal communication skills.

•Experience in conducting Phishing and DOS Assessments.
