Delivery Manager - Corporate Business Domains (HR/Facility, Finance, and Data Teams)

Job Summary:

The Delivery Manager for Corporate Business Domains will be responsible for overseeing and managing the delivery of projects across HR/Facility, Finance, and Data teams within the organization. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience in the retail industry, demonstrating a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and leading diverse teams.


Key Responsibilities:

Project Management and Delivery:

Delivery, Stakeholder Management and Way of working , Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects across HR/Facility, Finance, and Data teams.

Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget in Agile environment.

Utilize project management methodologies to manage project risks, issues, and changes effectively.


Team Leadership and Development:

Manage and mentor a team of project managers and other relevant staff.

Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.

Identify and address team training and development needs.


Stakeholder Management:

Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications.

Engage with senior leadership and stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for project initiatives.

Facilitate regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.


Process Improvement:

Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes and tools.

Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in project delivery.

Drive innovation and process improvements within the teams.


Resource Management:

Allocate and manage resources across multiple projects to optimize productivity.

Coordinate with other departments to ensure resource availability and capability.

Track and report on resource utilization and project costs.


Risk and Issue Management:

Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues.

Develop mitigation plans and ensure timely resolution of issues.

Maintain a risk register and ensure regular reviews and updates.


Performance Tracking and Reporting:

Develop and maintain project performance metrics and KPIs.

Prepare and present project performance reports to senior management.

Ensure project documentation is complete, current, and stored appropriately.


Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Project Management, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.

Over 15 years of experience in the retail industry, with a strong background in managing projects within HR, Facility, Finance, and Data domains.

Proven experience in leading and delivering large-scale, complex projects.

Strong understanding of corporate business functions and processes in the retail industry.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello).

Knowledge and experience in Agile methodology and sprint ceremonies.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
