We are seeking an Assistant Manager Academics to join our team at Makoons Play School. As the Assistant Manager Academics, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our educational program by providing training to our teaching staff and conducting center visits to ensure compliance with our standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct training sessions for our teaching staff on our curriculum, teaching methodology, and classroom management.
  • Develop and update training materials to ensure that our teachers are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to deliver an outstanding educational experience.
  • Conduct regular center visits to observe classroom instruction, provide feedback to teachers, and ensure compliance with our standards.
  • Identify areas for improvement and provide guidance to teachers on best practices in early childhood education.
  • Collaborate with the Academic Head and other members of the leadership team to implement changes to the curriculum or teaching methodology as needed.
  • Monitor student progress and provide guidance to teachers on interventions to help struggling students.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of assessments to evaluate student progress and ensure that our curriculum is meeting the needs of our students.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in early childhood education and apply them to our programs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in early childhood education, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of early childhood development, teaching methodology, and classroom management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a collaborative and supportive attitude.
  • Willingness to travel to different centers and work flexible hours as needed.
