Job Description:


Battlebucks is seeking an experienced Platform Lead for our Native iOS version to oversee the development and maintenance of our cutting-edge gaming platform. The ideal candidate will manage the iOS application, ensure seamless integration with games built in Unity and HTML, and collaborate closely with our game development team. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership skills to drive the continuous enhancement of our platform.


Responsibilities:


• Lead the Development and Maintenance of the iOS Platform:

• Oversee the development, testing, and deployment of new features and updates for the Battlebucks iOS app.

• Ensure the platform’s stability, performance, and security through regular maintenance and optimization.

• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise in the iOS app.

• Collaborate with the Game Development Team:

• Work closely with Unity and HTML game developers to integrate new games and features seamlessly into the iOS app.

• Coordinate with designers, developers, and product managers to align on project goals and deliverables.

• Drive Innovation and Feature Enhancements:

• Analyze user feedback and data to identify opportunities for improving the user experience.

• Develop and implement new features that enhance the app’s functionality and user engagement.

• Stay updated with the latest iOS development trends and technologies to keep the platform at the forefront of the industry.

• Ensure Compliance and Best Practices:

• Ensure the iOS app adheres to Apple’s App Store guidelines and best practices.

• Implement and maintain coding standards, version control, and documentation practices.

• Lead and Mentor the iOS Development Team:

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

• Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.


Requirements:


• Technical Expertise:

• Proven experience in iOS development using Swift and Objective-C.

• Strong knowledge of the iOS SDK, Xcode, and Apple development tools.

• Experience with integrating Unity and HTML games into native iOS applications.

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and SDKs.


Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in iOS development, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior developer role.

• Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining complex, high-traffic iOS applications.


Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.


Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.


Preferred Qualifications:


• Experience in the gaming industry or with gaming platforms.

• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.

• Experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

• Familiarity with Apple App Store submission and review process.
