About the Role:

As a Senior Designer specializing in our comprehensive design system, you will act as a linchpin between the core product team and various product teams. Your mission is to ensure that the design system remains robust, coherent, and forward-looking, supporting a wide range of product initiatives while maintaining a seamless user experience across our platform.


Key Responsibilities:

  • System Management: Oversee and contribute to the development, maintenance, and evolution of the design system. Ensure it meets the needs of the product teams and aligns with the overall product strategy.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product teams to understand their design needs and challenges. Provide expert guidance to integrate the design system into various products effectively.
  • Advocacy: Act as a bridge between the core product team and product teams, advocating for the design system's adoption and adherence. Facilitate workshops and training sessions to elevate the design maturity across the organization.
  • Loop: Establish a structured process for collecting, prioritizing, and acting on feedback from product teams regarding the design system. Ensure the design system evolves to meet changing needs and technologies.
  • Guidelines: Continuously update and refine design guidelines, ensuring they are comprehensive, accessible, and up-to-date. Provide clear documentation for design patterns, components, and best practices.
  • and Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for enhancements and new features within the design system. Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure the design system remains cutting-edge.
  • Engagement: Engage with stakeholders across the organization to ensure the design system aligns with business goals and user needs. Present updates and gather feedback regularly to ensure stakeholder buy-in.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • of 5 years of experience in digital product design, with a strong focus on design systems.
  • expertise in Figma is essential, including familiarity with its collaboration features, component libraries, auto-layout, and prototyping capabilities. Experience with other design and prototyping tools (e.g., Sketch, Adobe XD) is also valuable.
  • understanding of UX/UI principles, responsive design, and accessibility standards.
  • communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams and disciplines.
  • in conducting workshops and training sessions on design best practices and specifically on leveraging Figma for design system development and application.
  • ability to manage projects, prioritize tasks, and deliver on time.
  • portfolio showcasing experience with design systems, specifically highlighting work done within Figma, and a variety of digital products.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • with front-end development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
  • experience in a similar role, supporting large-scale digital products or services.
