Job Overview:

As an SEO Intern, you will play a key role in supporting our SEO team by publishing content in our Content Management System (CMS), optimizing content for search engines, and assisting with off-page SEO activities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the field of SEO and digital marketing.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Content Publishing:

- Assist in uploading and formatting content in the CMS.

- Ensure all published content adheres to SEO best practices and company guidelines.

- Collaborate with the content team to maintain a consistent publishing schedule.

2. On-Page SEO Optimization:

- Perform keyword research to identify relevant keywords for content optimization.

- Optimize meta titles, descriptions, headers, and other on-page elements.

- Ensure content is structured correctly for SEO, including the use of internal links and alt tags for images.

- Monitor and report on the performance of published content using SEO tools and analytics platforms.

3. Off-Page SEO Activities:

- Assist in the development and execution of link-building strategies.

- Conduct outreach to relevant websites and influencers for backlink opportunities.

- Help manage and update the company's online presence in directories and other relevant platforms.

- Monitor the backlink profile and report on the effectiveness of off-page activities.

4. Continuous Learning:

- Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and best practices.

- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance SEO skills.



Qualifications:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.


Skills:

- Basic understanding of SEO principles and digital marketing.

- Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Joomla) is a plus.

- Proficient in using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

- Experience with SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs) is an advantage.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
