Job Summary: As a Data Architecture Specialist, you will play a crucial role in building cross-functional relationships and understanding business needs within the Consumer Data Group. You will work in a multi-disciplinary agile team and partner with business sponsors and champions to create a roadmap aligned with target goals. Your responsibilities will include driving data platform and data product adoption, defining cloud data platform solutions, and ensuring adherence to architecture principles and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Consumer Architecture and Enterprise Architecture teams to create and govern the conceptual architecture that addresses high-level business requirements and aligns with good engineering principles.
  • Define data products and usage patterns across data solutions, such as Data Science Sandbox, Marketing technology, ETLs, APIs, and integrations.
  • Develop platform product principles and validate solutions architecture for adherence to principles and standards.
  • Evaluate specifications, best practices, and proper use of cloud services as they relate to the overall data platform and marketing technology.
  • Lead standard-setting and architecture, ensuring successful evolution and adherence within projects.
  • Prepare high- and low-level designs and documentation for end-to-end GCP data solutions, including storage, integration, processing, and access.
  • Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional and non-functional business requirements.
  • Identify, design, and implement process improvements, such as automation, optimization of data delivery, and infrastructure redesign for scalability.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including the Executive, Product, Data, and Design teams, to address data-related technical issues and support data infrastructure needs.
  • Design and execute pilots, prototypes, or proof of concepts, providing validation and deployment guidance for specific scenarios.
  • Identify and participate in the design and delivery of cloud data platform solutions, data storage, movement, and orchestration utilizing GCP.
  • Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate and share best practices and insights with engineering colleagues and the architect community.
  • Must be well versed with data modelling, DWBI concepts.
  • Must have hands on experience around technical artefacts creation for project delivery.
  • Must have sound knowledge around building ERD’s and data flows.
  • Good knowledge around star/snowflake schema designing, good to have.
