Job Description:

Gsource Technologies delivers precise and efficient computer-assisted design and modeling solutions for architecture, structural engineering, land surveying, and more. We cater to clients from the US, Canada, and the Middle East, focusing on precision and excellence.

International travel to the Middle East may be required.

We are seeking a Lead Architect/Project Manager to lead architectural design, modeling, and coordination across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The candidate will manage quality deliverables, build strong client relationships, and ensure compliance with US building codes, including the International Building Code (IBC) and ADA regulations. Proficiency in preparing Construction Document (CD), Permit, Design Development (DD), and Schematic Design (SD) sets is required.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead architectural design and modelling efforts for projects across diverse sectors, ensuring accuracy and quality in all deliverables.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and project stakeholders to develop detailed BIM and CAD models using software such as Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to manage and resolve design conflicts, integrating inputs from structural and MEP disciplines.
  • Ensure compliance with US building codes such as IBC, ADA, and other state-specific regulations, adapting quickly to new codes as required.
  • Experience in creating CD sets, Permit sets, DD sets, and SD sets for various types of projects.
  • Translate design concepts, sketches, and redlines into fully developed Revit or CAD drawings.
  • Perform regular quality checks on architectural deliverables, ensuring alignment with client expectations and project specifications.
  • Engage directly with clients to understand project requirements, provide design updates, and address concerns.
  • Lead the coordination of BIM models, ensuring effective collaboration among various design and engineering teams.
  • Work on both small- and large-scale architectural projects, ensuring a balance between design creativity and operational efficiency.
  • Assist in the development of project timelines, assigning tasks to team members, and managing day-to-day project operations.


Additional Skills & Expertise:

  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, BIM 360, and Dynamo.
  • Strong knowledge of US Building Codes such as IBC and ADA with an ability to adapt to regional variations.
  • Experience with LiDAR and point cloud classification tools such as Recap and Cyclone is a good-to-have skill, but not mandatory.
  • Coordination with MEP and HVAC departments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to handle diverse client requirements and project deliverables.
  • Experience in residential, commercial, and industrial architectural projects, especially within the US market.


Qualifications:

  • B.Arch Degree.
  • 8+ years of experience in architectural design, modelling, and project coordination.
  • Proven expertise in using CAD & Revit software, with strong project management skills.
